Dean Morrison, a solo guitarist/singer-songwriter, is about what you'd describe him as at this point. Mneh, whatever.
I am an independent, so far non-profit guitarist/singer, and I like a variety of styles. As far as singing goes, I can't do much at this point, I've only got one completed song, but I have done several instrumental tunes of both electric and acoustic. All my recording is done at home, on my PC.

Story behind the song
This song was motivated by my motivation, actually. The person I wrote most of the other songs about was to be thanked in this song for being such a good muse. Turned out to be one of my favourites out of all of them.
Lyrics
I am sittin' alone on the stairs with my guitar in my hands and I've got nothin' better to do than sing a song but you even though it's not the best Why are all the precious things in life so few I wish you'd all just stay here for just a little while longer Chorus The chords are ringing in my ears Has it been worth it all these years Can you lead me to the fate that I've planned for myself Or will you bring me to a road that puts me back on the shelf and would I would I let this story end You were the inspiration that I had you were drivin' me mad and I knew the possibilities were few that I could ever be with you I didn't know what to do But now I do I have to leave this immaturity behind me Chorus I wonder now how many lies you have told to keep our friendship from going cold When I'm old I'll spin these words into gold I'm gonna buy my way into your heart Somehow I still want to keep this dream alive ain't gonna cramp my style no more So shake it Like you never shook before and spread your wings and fly Chorus When I see you again I'll Tell you what you have missed And You'll tell me how it Used to be But I won't let myself down until the sky falls to the ground I won't give up so easily
