Rough guitar vocal worktape I produced of a song I wrote about the desire to be really good at just one thing rather than pretty good at lots of things.

Country, Pop, Southern Rock, Songwriter
I'm a songwriter in Nashville. My music ranges from country to southern rock to pop. I don't have aspirations of being an artist. I'll leave that up to the pros and hopefully get a cut or two one day. All songs here are copywrited by me and any other co-writers or publishers involved with any particular song. If you're an artist and want to cut one of my songs, please contact me for information regarding permission and licensing. Thanks!

Story behind the song
This is autobiographical. My whole life I've been able to do just about anything pretty good. People always say I'm "multi-talented." But I've always felt like I've never been exceptional at any one thing. People close to me can't understand why I worry about that. They think I'm lucky to have so many different skills. So the song is about that--being good at lots of different things that are unimportant, but wanting to be the very best at just one thing that is the most important.
