Story behind the song
Most of us have had a time or times so wonderful, it hurt to see them end. The questions in this song come to everyone who lives long enough to taste evanescence. This arrangement of my song was one of several done by my best friend the late Russ Daughtry of Chicago, as he was dying from ALS (AKA, Motor Neuron Disease). Using a contraption on his head to operate a computer, he wrote the bass, percussion, and descants over scratch tracks I made for him. It was tedious and somewhat grueling for him, as he was very weak and had to enter one note at a time by pointing with his head and using the only other movement left to him, a twitch in one finger, to "click" the switch that acted as the mouse button.

Really enjoyed both this and "Better Late than never Love". Nicely thought out lyrics and melodies. Can imagine you write more than what you have posted here too. Well done friend! I'll invite you to drop by when the urge hits for a listen as well. Would appreciate knowing what you think. Thanks again for the tunes
