Story behind the song
This song was written over 3 years ago. However, I never could come up with lyrics to convey what I meant to say. I finally came up with a theme that I felt somewhat comfortable with.
Lyrics
Atlantis sinking The foam will churn with the tide Everything I cling to is here the world is possibly clear How can I vanquish what I still cherish? Everything I tried to undo is here I'm listening to you You know when life is gold When time can't slip right through our hold One choice, one path we can decide What deeds are done just to get by Blue oceans distance The sun will melt on the waves Everything I would need is here just like a lone privateer Who floats in circles to catch his victims Then spends it all on the shore and goes back looking for more And we will row and still we'll go One never knows what ships may hold Some crafts may hold the key to life While some may lead to your demise Our hearts would tell us If we would only If we would only be If we would only If we would only bleed No is all we know No is all we know No is all we know No is all we know
