Story behind the song
Music composed on this CD was inspired by a week in July 2001 when I found myself unexpectedly having extra time to visit local Museums in New York City & Long Island, NY. Deeply inspired by some of the greatest artwork in the world, I proceeded to compose & record my experience in the following month of August 2001. Inspired by the art work of such artist as Anselm Kiefer, Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst, Roy Lichtenstein, Gerhard Richter, Arthur G. Dove, Stuart Davis, Jackson Pollock, Georges-Pierre Seurat, Joe Constantino, Balthus
