Gregorian Sense

Gregorian Chant. A search for the original sense of Gregorian chant. A chant made by men who prayed and deepened in the meaning of prayer through music.

Gregorian Sense is an attempt to deepen into the profound sense of Gregorian chants. The group is formed by residents at C.M. Bidasoa, (Pamplona, Spain). We are in course of discovering new musical forms, in a way in which we let the meaning of the lyrics prevail over the musical expression. It is a search for the original sense of Gregorian chants. These chants were made by men who prayed and deepened into the sense (message) of their prayer through music. All suggestions are welcome. Gregorian Sense es un intento de profundizar en el sentido interno del canto gregoriano. Compuesto por residentes del C.M. Bidasoa. Estamos en proceso, descubriendo nuevas formas musicales, en la medida en que dejamos que el sentido del texto mande sobre la expresión musical. Una búsqueda del sentido original del canto gregoriano. Un canto hecho por hombres que rezaban y que ahondaban en el sentido de su oración a través de la música. Serán bien recibidas todas las reacciones y sugerencias que este trabajo suscite.

Un diáologo íntimo, confiado y tierno, del alma con el Espíritu Santo.
Una obra maestra de la expresión poética y musical de la oración plamada en canto. Un canto que sólo muestra su riqueza, inseprablemente sobrenatural y musical, cuando se consigue rezar cantando, cuando no se canta, sino que (se intenta) orar, dialogar, contemplar, pedir confiados como niños a ese Espíritu Santo que mora y transforma nuestras almas, y nos mueve siempre a obrar.
