Dawn is a country girl from Rural Alberta and has been writing songs for 15 years.
Hi I'm just a country girl from Alberta and I have always had a love for music and grew up listening to the Country Greats like Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones to name a few. My parents always had the music playing. My Dad also had some great 45's from the 50's and 60's and I still remember listening to Elvis and Buddy Holly . I have been writing songs for about 15 years now and I have found it to be a fun hobby. Now I enjoy the music of Leann Rimes, Celine Dion, Brooks & Dunn, Dixie Chicks, and Keith Urban to name a few.

Lyrics
LET THE RAIN FALL DOWN By: Dawn Leanne Cutforth ©2005 Let the rain fall down, wash away the pain, that’s in my heart. Drown my sorrow, give life a brand new start. But, let the rain keep tumbling down Tumbling down to the ground. Tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down, tumbling down to the ground. How long must I wait, till this pain is gone, and I no longer cry. Till I don’t miss you , and I can say good-bye. Till this rain stops tumbling down. Tumbling down to the ground. I know it’s going to take some time to mend this broken heart. And once I’m over you, my life will have a new start. Till then the rain keeps tumbling down tumbling down to the ground. Soon the sun will shine, no more clouds will fill my sky. The birds will sing, and birds will fly. That’s when the rain will stop tumbling down, Stop tumbling down to the ground. I know the rain will stop tumbling down. I pray it just stops tumbling down.
