This song holds the record of being the first of my solo productions that made somebody (other than myself) dance. What's noteworthy is that it was someone that really didn't like me.

Story behind the song
When I learned that early rock n roll hits sometimes used unusual items for percussion (guitar cases, telephone books) I got interested in creating new sounds. In the original (acoustic) version of this song I found a piece of wood (not really a stick, but it rolls off the tongue better than "board" or "scrap wood") and added it to my drum kit. The beat and the entire song were built around what I did on the "stick."
