Since I retired in 1996 I took up writing, playing and recording music as a hobby. I play piano, guitar, bass, drums, harmonica and tenor sax reasonably well but not great. I enjoy all genres of music.

Story behind the song
I was asked by my best friend to write a song for his daughter's wedding, this is the result. The pastor from our church came here and my wife and I renewed our vows on the recording. The mood I tried to create was that of an old fashioned country wedding, the piano is intentionally put slightly out of tune and I wanted the voice and fiddle to appear to be dancing together throughout the song.
