Total semi-competent amateur and proud of it! There are currently 10 full albums, 5 EPs and numerous stray tracks available here... keep checking up, cos more music is appearing all the time... For album and EP artwork, visit . If you think you can stomach more of this shit, then why not check the , and wonder at my musical development (or lack thereof...) I now also have a page dedicated to I've done for other people... Finally, there's also a wee side project that I have which goes by the name ...

Story behind the song
These two tracks are sort of mixed here so you don't have to fanny about trying to reduce the gap between them to nothing. 'Lights Out' is just intended as a mood-setting intro to the album. It's basically just a tinkly lullaby that somehow manages to sound a bit unsettling - something that I think is entirely down to it's context: it's kind of taken for granted these days that any use of nursery music is bound to have some deeper, ominous intention. It's an interesting example of how your expectations can colour your perceptions. As for 'The Fall' - this version is actually a remix. I don't think it has a specific meaning, unless it's how switching the lights out substantially increases your chances of tripping over something... ;)
