Story behind the song

Not all youngsters are ignorant to the real meaning and history of hip hop.  But to those who are ignorant- meaning those who only appreciate criminal music because they have no understanding of why  and how hip hop came to be and not because it was the only form of music they could relate to, but rather the latest trend that just so happened to be the only dominant genre since the day they were born (brainwashed), Hip Hop's roots and the disipline which created it is important, (the most powerful artform ever known to human kind), my advice to the kid who can not tell the difference between what is wack ( 50cent ) and what is truly dope (Jadakiss) is to turn off VH1 and MTV and take your narrow ass to your local Mom and Pop record store and do your homework.  Learn Hip Hop's history before you study each lyric of your favorite rap artist in hopes to emulate the game these talented indivuals have aquired.  Yet if nothing else, remember this.  IT"S NOT THE MUSIC THAT MAKES A MAN STREET SMART, HARD, GANGSTER, OR A PLAYER, IT'S EXPERIENCE. AND KNOWING THE DIFFERENCE PLUS BEING ABLE TO BUILD YOUR OWN CHARACTER FROM YOUR OWN EXPERIENCES WHICH MAKES YOU STAND UP MOTHAFUCKA WHO KEEPS IT REAL TO THE FULLEST!   one
