An energetic blend of dinosaur stomp rock and reggae. Has a signature riff, modern upstroke groove verses, good lyrical flow, and a dig down chorus.

Story behind the song
This is the first song that the three of us wrote together. Inspired by impromptu jamming, Chris' vocal free flow was so good that it ended up as the final lyrics. Working in an office is pretty boring. This song should inspire anyone who is holding down that day job for no good reason other than to have enough money to live while playing music!
Lyrics
I said hey, right! I'd love to write but there's an endless stack of paper under sterile lights and if I don't complete the task I'm outta sight Because you can't get paid to type an endless gripe Unless you're rock stars with 7 different cars so if you're fired you can sell the jag and still fill up your jar but if you dig too deep you won't get very far so we cut a new jam (Brody, take 4 bars!) I need a new job I said Hey, Ho! I've got to get out on my own I gotta try to fit in because they told me so but it doesn't look as if I ever will Of course you cannot build momentum while you're still standing still I said Oh, yes! I need the cash but working for the man inside a system chaps my ass so I use my time and color to contrast And in the morning I will set forth for Los Angeles I need a new job! I said Hey, You! I know what I want to do There was a destiny that manifested through a jam or 2 with the Joel and Kyle combination crew And though I had to leave them both behind I've found somebody new I said Oh, No! I gots to get out on my own I gots to try to fit in because they told me so but it doesn't look as if I ever will Of course you cannot build momentum while you're still standing still!
