Story behind the song
This was instpired by Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series. I hope he'll forgive me for it :)
Lyrics
I see the echoes of Thunderclap in your eyes. The violence we’ve been through is so very hard to disguise. The children are safe, the Wolves killed and driven away. The Crimson King threatens a terrible price we’ll all pay Chorus: Voice of the Rose, Oh! How it glows! I can feel the lightning. I hear the voices from billions of infinite skies. I hear the voices from billions of infinite skies. Susannah’s gone missing, possessed by a demon we dread. Black 13 went with her, let’s hope it’s not in her head. Eddie’s so frantic and lost he’s coming unglued. Roland holds steady and cautions us all to “be true”. Chorus: Voice of the Rose, Oh! How it glows! I can feel the lightning. I hear the voices from billions of infinite skies. I hear the voices from billions of infinite skies. I see the echoes of Thunderclap in your eyes. The violence we’ve been through is so very hard to disguise. The children are safe, the Wolves killed and driven away. The Crimson King threatens a terrible price we’ll all pay
