Story behind the song
My friends are amazing people, they deserve their own song. I will do anything for them. The night of recording, I was going to use my "sister" Bev to do the counter melody and all the other parts we'd worked out, but her voice was too classical and she ahd to learn everything that night! Later in the night, when she and my stellar keyboarist had left, we recorded everything over again, after I'd changed the words to make it a solo song. I sung everything, counter-melody and harmony. pretty sweet, huh?
