Story behind the song
Little John was only six weeks old the first time he was faced with saying "Goodbye" to his daddy. It was just a business trip, but it was one of many that would take place as Little John grew up. It was a rainy day and Little John was facinated with riding in the car. It was just another ride for Little John until they arrived at the airport. He could feel the tension as Little John's mother began to cry as she held him out to his father to kiss him Goodbye. Soon his father was on his way and He and his mother were back in the car and headed home. This tune is a reflection of the short lived emotions in a baby's behavior. One minute crying then something happens or makes a noise and boom they're giggling and smiles. Some guitars, organ, piano, percussion and some light hearted fun.
