Story behind the song
One day I was sitting at my buddy Trevor's place back in Medicine Hat Alta, and my friend Leo was lamenting to the fact that his body had sort of broken down on him. He was quite an athlete when he was younger but now he has had some surgery done on his knee and it will never be the same. He looked over at another friend, Warren, and said, "My dreams are gone. Warren, pass me a beer."
