Dawn is a country girl from Rural Alberta and has been writing songs for 15 years.
Hi I'm just a country girl from Alberta and I have always had a love for music and grew up listening to the Country Greats like Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones to name a few. My parents always had the music playing. My Dad also had some great 45's from the 50's and 60's and I still remember listening to Elvis and Buddy Holly . I have been writing songs for about 15 years now and I have found it to be a fun hobby. Now I enjoy the music of Leann Rimes, Celine Dion, Brooks & Dunn, Dixie Chicks, and Keith Urban to name a few.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song sometime ago , after I had been to a movie. I can't remember the name of the movie but, it was about this girl (who was plain and ordinary) that was attracted to this boy and he never noticed her . He was after the cheer leader and well you know the rest of the story. Some of you guys out there have told me that you have also sometimes felt invisible. We all just want to be loved for who we are , not what someone else wants us to be. The right person does come along , that special someone who loves us for who we are on the inside as well as the outside. It is all worth the wait in the end! ! !
