Lie Big are Guitarist Adrian Jones, Bassist Kevin Jones and singer Russell outlaw. Recently invigorated by working together again after years of inactivity, Lie Big released their debut album, 'Severed' in May 2007. The new material could be described as dark and menacing. The album features a re-recorded 'Overcome' which reached number 1 in the alternative metal chart on Soundclick.

Story behind the song
The song was written an recorded originally about 12 years ago by myself and Kev, and came out of an off the cuff acoustic riff recorded to initially to test out the 4 track recorder. The whole song, solos, lyric and recording originally only took about 6 hours to create (and a few beers), Re-recorded here with Russell Outlaw on vocals and a more polished feel
