** To purchase Julie's debut album: Julie Layne Bloeth is a composer. lyricist and vocalist. She describes her style as eclectic. Combining Country, Folk, Adult Contemporary and Singer-Songwriter, she's created a genre all her own. She draws from world events, her own experiences and those of the people she meets to create her unique songs and acoustic sound. "While it's difficult to put yourself 'out there,' you reach a point in your life where you can either share what you've learned or hide behind wishful thinking. My father once said to me "...leave the past where it belongs... we're all the sum of our experiences." My parents have shared their wisdom with me and I hope they'll be proud to know I've learned so much from them. My music is the sum of my experiences, and if I touch just one person with it, I've done what I've set out to do." Julie's debut album, entitled "Some Days" is currently available for sale! Lyrics
THE ILLUSION Julie Layne Bloeth/Rob Perry We've been walking that fine line Between over and done This state of limbo is a bad sign Where I'm coming from (Chorus) It's not about letting you go Or paving my own way in this land of confusion It's not about finding the end of the rainbow It's about letting go...[of the illusion 1, 3] When we're apart I rebuild my walls Then you tear them down It's breaking my heart but I've resolved No more merry-go-round (Repeat Chorus) (Instrumental Bridge) (Repeat Chorus) © 2005 Julie Layne Bloeth (ASCAP)/Rob Perry (BMI)
