Indie, rock, pop, original band, combining edgy lyrics with cool tunes.
Fozz combines the energy and passion of contemporary acts such as Greenday and The Vines with the classic drive and lyrical cleverness of bands such as The Jam and Elvis Costello, resulting in a rich and powerful mix of the retro and modern. Performing regularly around the country with his band, Fozz has received critical and public acclaim for his songs.
The Fozz fan base is swelling week on week. From sixteen and seventeen year olds, ‘moshing’ at the front of the stage to the ‘new’ sound, to the slightly more mature crowd re-living the retro-mod vibe of their youth!
Fozz’s offering - She Thinks She’s Bridget Jones - made the coveted number one spot on the MP3 site Besonic.com in the global pop chart for six weeks. It also won 'Best single' in the MK Citizen 'Go!' awards.
FM 103 Horizon, winner of independent radio station of the year 2002, gave the song it’s debut air-play and a big thumbs up. Sales of the single in HMV were been strong, a direct result of the exposure it has received and a testament to it’s commercial viability.
Their latest single "My Stupid Girlfriend" is sure to repeat the same success. A mixture of styles from Squeeze to The Strokes will strike a chord with punters and musicians alike.
