Boston/Memphis based student and film composer.
I am a student at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts pursuing a double major of Film Scoring and Music Synthesis. I have been writing music since I was a teenager and am constantly learning new tools, being inspired by new artists, and expanding my musical palette through the wealth of information I am learning at school and through my own practice. I love writing music and sound, so I don't merely hope that one day I find myself in the field of film audio, but I instead intend to push myself until that hope is realized.

Story behind the song
This is an atmospheric little thing that I made using an instrument I built (inspired by Laurie Anderson) called the tape bow cello. Basically, it's the physics of a cello, but using a tape head reader for the bridge and using samples of sine waves, speech, drum beats, white noise, etc on a kind of "bow" that is then played across the magnetic bridge to produce sound. I can manipulate the pitch and speeds by changing bowing patterns. Pretty cool, huh? I'll get some pictures up soon enough.
