I am a solo artist from Minneapolis,Minnesota. On this site you will find my old and new pieces. I'm currently going to IPR(institute of production and recording) and going to achieve a degree in music business. My main goal is to someday produce my own music for radio commercials,movie scores and video games. Sound can be an adventure that can sooth our minds enough to bring us to that place of clarity. Story behind the song
My music has a theme. The theme that has to do with the past.Music has always helped me get over the past. It's a therapist that doesn't charge you. Never judges and leaves your side.The story goes... I have a sister in which I haven't spoken to in about ten years now. The short story of it all was that she got married, then got pregnant by another dude. She hung her head in shame and even though my family was there for her, we were the enemy apparently. I was too young to understand how she felt but this still made me feel like the victim. What did I do to not be contacted? My own sister claimed my judgements and now, on her own terms, I will not see her anymore. Anything that made me hurt has made me angry, very angry. This is my hate song. My emo screamo song. It was also the hardest song we recorded. Jarick, the drummer, had a hard time making fills for the song. Hence, he gave up on the song. We bitch slapped him a couple times, verbally that is, and we worked hard to make the song work. Andy put a real awesome sounding little solo on everyother riff.He came up with it while fooling around at our second showing. We played a garage show at Tony Masons place. A lot of kids that picked on me showed so the songs felt great to sing to since I was insulting them without them knowing. The cops came towards the end of our set and I broke my guitar to this song. The pieces shattered in front of the cops and they looked at me like, Jesus, who pissed him off? The guitar was a red piece of shit I inherited from a past relationship.
