Story behind the song

one of the source tracks from Mandible's Short Loop--Eruption #4 (from Jason: "spence (mandible's full-time guitarist) was just riffing about with that after we finished recording the song. i liked it and told him to keep playing while i set up the mics. so, he kept playing, rusty held the microphone next to the guitar, and i picked up a toy bell set and just started hitting random notes. it sounded good so i was like 'perfect! that's the ending'."

and somehow it was also perfect when I combined it with an acoustic guitar clip and some other stuff from Michael Chocholak ("It was just some plunking around I was doing thinking I might come up with another piece for Misha's YellowJacket soundtrack, but they ended up on the shelf")
