frank romanelli acoustic
A fresh new voice in Acoustic Alternative rock Frank's sound is original and fresh and his lyrics touch the hearts of all people of all ages in a gentle but me
I began doing solo gigs full time in the summer of 1999. I didn't write much before that when I was in a band or when I first started soloing, but the writing started happening after about a year, then the gig started to change.

Story behind the song
I was playing a place called the Med Café. I was talking to the guy behind the counter. She walked in, walked up to me and said hello. We started talking and somehow got to taling about afterlife, quantum physics and god in five minutes. Then she was gone. I loved her. I went home and wrote the song. I never knew her name, I never saw her again.
Lyrics
I'd seen her several times before. She smiled when I walked through the door. I never noticed she was lookin' I thought that she was beautiful, but never thought much more until One day when we just started talkin' I couldn't see through her disguise, dark glasses covered up her eyes But there was somethin' there that told me That I had spoke to her before, just when and where I wasn't sure But when I did I knew she loved me This was not the first time that my heart had told me Someone new was an old friend How could I be wishing now that she could hold me If I had only met her then We only talked for minutes but when that time was finished I knew that we would talk again Cuz there was somethin' in the way she smiled and stood there That made me sure it wouldn't be the end * I'm not sure how I know it But I have loved that girl many times before And it's as real as anything I've ever known And I can't wait to tell her I still love her I've always kind of understood that even though my life is good That there's an empty place inside me And when I look through her disguise I see that same place in her eyes And know I want her here beside me This is not the first time that my heart has told me She is more than just a friend An' I can't wait until the next time that she holds me I'm so glad we met again I can't wait . . . yeah, until she holds me . . . And tells me that she loves me . . . I can't wait . . . until I get to tell her That I'll always love her. Yeah, I can't wait to love her.
