The Project Kemkid (back then "Chemkid") was founded after the hop-hop band nordwind split up 1999. After 5 years and some serious stage expirences (Bandbreiten Awards, Posthof, Kapu, Ottensheim Open Air) they recogniced that their goals were different ones. KemkiD decided that his interests went more into the upbeat direction than the dub stuff his colouges were after. So he startet messing arround with jungle ragga and dnb sounds.....and since that day he's addicted to wobbly basslines. Since 2005 he works as producer with several musicians. 2006 he releases his first download-only EP "ruff, rugged and raw". 2008 his first official Release "Drum, Bass & KemkiD" has come out via office4music.
