i am Set-The-Marq. i rap to express myself in the form of verbal poetry; rap. rap needs a change, hip hop is dead. hopefully in my raps i can try to bring it back, even if only for 3 minutes at a time.by bringing new style, titer rhymes with stronger meanings, i hope to give hip hop the freshness and attraction that it first had when it was born. Money,cars,bitches are all temporary possessions-these are the topics that kill rap. Life is a much more effective tool to bring people's ears to music, wheter this be by showing past experiences, current struggles, or hopes for the future. These themes will prevail over what you hear on the radio and the artists that cover these issues will be everlasting, not limited to 5 weeks in people's minds or iPods. this is my illosophy.(Illosophy is also the rap group i am in, you will be properly introuduced once our album is finished...)
