Founded in summer 2003, as a follow-up to the band MadeNBaken (yes, folks, that was the name!)which had originally been brought to life by Patrick S. and Patrick W. in early 2000 and lasted until the summer of 2003, Orange Sofa have finally found a consistent line-up, completed with the arrival of Christoph In January 05. In the winter 03/04, the by then remaining members started working on new material to have something in the can for when the new line-up would have finally gained shape. What was usually meant to become a little 4-track-demo in the end turned into a full CD-length project which wasnt completed until late autumn of 2004 and is now available as "Lost in details", the bands first proper release. "Lost in details" consists of eleven tracks (at an overall length of 45 minutes) which have been written and produced by Patrick Schmiedel and Patrick Whelan. Right now, Orange Sofa are rehearsing for upcoming shows (and for whatever the future may bring)and trying to spread their music as widely as possible to make all the work and passion that was put into "Lost in details" worth it.
