Singer/Songwriter free lance musician since late 60's, with a variety of styles. In addition to the normal rock, pop, and whatever, I'm also a pretty decent jazz bassist (upright). I think my guitar skills(?) are finally being recognized after 40 years of playing. Remember, I started back in the days when instructional this or that didn't exist and everything was voodoo, and as a result, I have more of a distinct style than most other guitarists (yeah, clumsy). For whatever it's worth, a CD release (original rock, country, and pop material) is eminent.

Story behind the song
The guitar on this is an Ovation Deluxe Celebrity I picked up last month. It records really well with a mike, although I'm still working out all the details, since I also bought a tube preamp shortly after.I recorded this yesterday since I had some free time after being sent home early due to a severe winter storm in the northeast. As usual I spent much more time mastering this than recording it. The upright sounds pretty good on this - I'm having a much easier time recording it (yes miked) thanks to the tube preamp, since I'm able to hear it with much greater clarity.
