Vis Vires... a solution to a problem...
Vis Vires is a solution to a problem. The goal: An effective combination of artistic, proficiently written and performed music and an energetic, entertaining live performance. Vis Vires was spawned from the idea that a live performance should not be a duplication of the experience of an artist's album, but rather a different experience or expression of the art in question. If concertgoers wanted to hear a CD, chances are they would have stayed at home and listened to it. Fans come to a live performance to see another side of the band. They expect to hear the songs on the album, but they also expect (or should expect) more. Rock n roll is in a sad state when uncreative, oversimplified bands are putting on the only exciting live shows. Vis Vires proves you can do both.

Lyrics
To the end of new beginnings... Just a promise... another promise... Your words be damned... You will suffer as I suffer Drive these nails into your hands And I will crucify you for your sins It doesn't matter if you rise again Cause you are dead in me forever The bleeding tree is burning now Soon our ashes will cover the ground You be the axe to bring it down Killing softly... with faith as a weapon Once I dared to share myself... My fears came true... My black heart a sacrifice... More blood on the altar of your good intentions... Drive these nails into your hands And I will crucify you for your sins It doesn't matter if you rise again Cause you are dead in me forever The bleeding tree is burning now Soon our ashes will cover the ground You be the axe to bring it down Killing softly... with faith as a weapon No more bare branches against the stars No more hands to heaven calling out No more bare branches against the stars Those hearts have perished... There is no sign of you
