catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
I felt it was time I wrote a song about people and their views on George W Bush. I have almost a neutral position on him. Anyway...I like the song, sounds somewhat U2ish? It was really hard to mix. But worked.
Lyrics
He was never a winner he sure had what it takes to lose and I'm happy that I won't wake up someday inside his shoes What a beautiful country what a reason to stand your ground no one knows what he's up to you hear hatred in every crowd and I will stand up and testify there is a spirit in the sky (is peace still holding on waiting there right up the road?) children believe what you believe there is no love in war ...for me he's just making decisions but who's waiting to pull the plug? ignorance is so blissfull and the most is a silent shrug all alone with the lights on but you're sitting there blinded by all the hatred among us no one telling the reasons why When will you stand and testify there is a spirit in the sky (is peace still holding on waiting there right up the road?) time to believe what you believe there is no love in war for me
