Poverty often has a devastating effect on young children. One of the effects is when a father leaves the family. This happened a lot in the '70's, and was the inspiration for this song (see story).

All original music... rock/folk/indie
Our new music video for "I'm Into Something Good" is now up on featuring Bella Donna We bring you all original music... with rock/folk-rock/country/blues influences. It's pretty much a one man operation around here, with me(Jim) writing and performing almost all of the guitar, keyboard, and vocal parts. Donna, the lovely lady in the photo, provides the inspiration. She's a very funny, unique and special lady. You can see Donna in action . Story behind the song
Poverty often has a devastating effect on young children. One of the effects is when a father leaves the family. Back in the 1970's when I was a welfare case worker, some of the welfare rules were a strong DISINSENTIVE for families to stay together. Thinking about this and other things led to me writing this song.
