Story behind the song
The first definite international single of WAHALA, is a tribute to the late Bradley Nowell, musical genius and singer from the band Sublime. The saxophone was played by Kiko Nuñez (Desorden Publico/Lapamariposa) and the African chants by Youssou (Senegal), both recorded in Barcelona, Spain. The lyrics on the chorus speak of musical global acceptance, no matter nation, colour or creed. This is also reflected on the video for this song, the very first professional video that the band releases, under the direction of Ignacio Castillo.
