Story behind the song
This is an instrumental composition that I began writing in the early 1990s; formerly known as "The Bells of Xantippe." "We have heard the chimes at midnight, Master Shallow." - Shakespeare, "Henry IV Part 2," III.ii A tribute not only to Shakespeare, but to Orson Welles' brilliant film of the same name.
