Story behind the song
I named it Desirae after my girlfriend at the time. She was disenfranchised that I had written songs about my past relationships, so I wrote this one for her while I was in Toronto during the summer of '04. I played it for her when I got back and she cried. :') It's capo'd on, like 6 and played in D. It's fairly simple. I stayed away from drums and such to keep the soft, acoustic and intimate feel of it.
