Artist picture
Hot new hip hop artist/poet/musician from Ypsilanti, Michigan who is about to take the game by storm! The name is: Yoshi
The name is YOSHI. My real name is Kiyoshi Shelton. Drop the "Ki" from my first name and that's what you get - "yoshi." I'm a 22 yr. old professional rapper/poet/musician/songwriter hailing out of Ypsilanti, MI. Having performed all over the country, I have acquired the necessary skills to go very far in the music world. Within the past few years, I have won 8(eight) talent shows, multiple poetry slams, and countless other accolades and awards. I have also been featured on television and in national magazines as well as local newspapers. Just recently, I released my solo EP album entitled "Unorthodox Slang Vol. 1" which has been getting rave reviews from people all over the world. It includes 15 hot tracks of nothing but refreshingly pure music at it's best. It is a mixture of raw, amazing hard hitting hip hop beats combined with phenomenal lyrics of rap and poetry and is very eclectic to say the least. I am presently finishing up my upcoming solo debut album and am now looking for exposure, radios to play my music, and possibly a record deal. I am an extremely talented individual who has enough talent to make it BIG in the industry..I just need the right connections and the right exposure...just check out my audio and you'll know!!
