Story behind the song
Steve wanted to write an over the top, sappy love song about Valentine's Day (around which time it was written), but thought it would be funnier to make it about a stalker (but exremely cheesy and stupid lyrics still intact), thus the creepy vocal effect (that is Steve's regular voice and his voice raised an octave in pitch being played at the same time). Yes, the lyrics are unintelligible with the effect, but it just wouldn't be the same without it.
