Story behind the song
This is a live praise & worship tune from our 2004 Winter Conference. This is a 2-track recording with no mixing and no overdubs. Worship leader and acoustic guitar: Rick Bennett Choir leader: Greta Hunter Drums: Jarod Nielson Bass: James Ray Keys: Jim Mann and Tracy Cole Electric guitar: Randy McFarland Rick's annointing for leading praise & worship shows itself quite nicely here. A strong opener, and a lot of fun to play. Guitar Notes: I used a Strat Plus with a SD Antiquity bridge pickup, and vintage Gibson mini-humbucker in the neck position. The amp is a Bogner Metropolis set on Schizo 2, with the gain set at about 3 o'clock. The overdrive lead tone comes from a Lovepedal Eternity, which produces a very vintage Tweed Fender type of tone. There's also some Chandler Digital Stereo Echo, which mimics the old tape Echoplex tones.
