Reconstruction

Two-tracked song (one guitar take and one fuzz track). I intentionally let the strings buzz by using a guitar with low action to generate the raw suspense and regret stirred up by the misgivings of the Reconstruction era.

Avant rock with emphasis on lyric quality, sound appeal, expirimentation, and intrigue.
Avant rock produced in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals, noise. Produced and performed by yours truly. I try to make the "non-traditional" pleasing to the ears and engaging to the mind. I am a self-professed writer by trade, so I aim to challenge the listener's sentiments with lyrical nuances and thematic undertones. I have an affinity for noise tracking, noise that hopefully serves a constructive role in the art of producing music.

Story behind the song
Song was created within a loose improvisional structure and I recorded the first take without any alterations. It includes blemishes, abrasions, buzzing strings and mistakes. My interpretation of the Reconstruction. Tragically disappointing.
