hi! i'm bernadette. you can call me dette for short. i'm 18 years old and i was born in manila, philippines (proud to be filipino hehe!) but i now live in maryland, usa. i started playing guitar about 3 years ago. i was bored one day and just randomly picked up a guitar. i wanted to learn how to play drums but i figured since drum sets cost a lot of money, i'll just try guitar. my dad, brother, aunt and uncle all play guitar so lots of people can teach me. ever since then, i loved playing guitar. i'm actually not so good. i only know basic chords and some bar chords. i can't even pluck well. so if there's anyone who can teach me, i'd really appreciate it. the first song i wrote and made was when i just learned how to play the guitar. after that, i just have people give me poems or lyrics that they wrote and i would make a song out of it. it's tough for me to write my own songs. last year, i started to write my own songs again. i found a new passion... song-writing.
