Story behind the song
We wrote this song at our first practice. I (Derrek) was working on a few riffs and brought them into practice and we formed it into a song. The words can be confusing, but for the most part they are about a relationship. In the first line of the chorus: "Am I still breathing here or am I just looking forward now" refers to a person taking that one deep breath before they move forward with something.
