TRE NICE Born Michael Hayes, Tre Nice, first honed his MC skills as a young man at various local talent shows. Tre was also a founding member of rap-duo YNS (Young Niggas Surviving). After a few years of trying to make it in the music industry, Tre realized he had a better shot at success if he went solo. With his roots firmly planted in downtown Toronto, Tre Nice grew up in the first public housing project in North America, which very soon became the blueprint for every housing project in Canada & the United States. Tre Nice had grown accustomed to the grimey downtown street life, and has been able to use that to his advantage through his music.
