Story behind the song
It's funny, coz this was like the 5th version of the song. Mic had originally produced the song himself for the group "Thr33" (a trio composed of Mic-B, David 2.0, & Lo'Kei). The song was later revamped and re-recorded as a solo joint for Mic's EP. The CD was produced under an independent label here in San Diego. Back then , I went by "PL" (or "Passion's Lyricist"). You'll hear the producer, E.W., whisper that over the song's instrumental break right before I come in. To my knowledge, Mic was a 619 Award nominee in 2004.
