With very different backgrounds, it was chance that we all met up at Carleton University in Ottawa. Each member has a unique sound with varying musical influences, yet still manage to make a cohesive sound. Jacob aka JY is originally from Missasauga and provides some of the beats and an uptempo lyrical style. Brandon aka Poetic Juztis comes out of Guelph, Ontario, and is known for his dark and descriptive lyrics that seem to paint a picture for the listener. Khalid aka Khandyman comes all the way from Qatar, and has a unique voice with a diverse flow and conversational lyrics. Together, we go as Significant Otherz.
