Story behind the song
Jaron Eldon: I can't remember where I came up for the title of this one, but I did, and it just sounds really funny to me. This is possibly my favourite piece, but Random Acts of Human Blindness is up there too. I got the beeping idea that's heard in the song from a garbage truck that was working outside as I was writing the chords for the main pad. Pete Nigel: The beats were all my doing of course. Gavin and Jaron started calling me "repeat" when we were working on the album because of all the looping I worked with. Real clever. I wanted something that had a good flow but was really simplistic, and originally the bass drum was very overpowering, but Jaron ran it through some kind of thing, and it pushed it into the background and actually eroded the sound a little bit I believe. The hi-hat sounding part was inspired by Bass Communion's, "Dwarf Artillery". Gavin Stewart: This was real great, I think we were all real happy with it. Jaron wanted a really spacey pad sound to accompany the main chords, a sound that gave it a real relaxing flow, so I tried out an idea and he absolutely loved it. That's the higher sound that you hear later on in the song. We were both incredibly happy with the relaxing, yet slightly epic sound we got from it.
