Even Steven was founded in January 2003 by Steven Campeggi, from Redondo Beach, CA. Even Steven was created to target music listeners between 18-50 years old, who are disenfranchised with Rap & Hip-Hop yet desire new music to satisfy their emotional needs. Steven plays piano, organ, synthesizers, acoustic/electric guitars, bass, drums, lead & background vocals. Even Steven's music is primarily alternative rock and power-pop. Music reviewers say Even Steven sounds somewhat like; Peter Gabriel, Seal, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Everything But The Girl, Massive Attack and Led Zeppelin.
Steven Campeggi is a member of ASCAP as both a writer and publisher. The copyrights to Even Steven's music is owned by Indie label "Steven Campeggi Publishing".
