TRUCKIN
David Vanderhoff 2004
Truckin down the road,
Where the weathers nice and warm.
When the storms of life are threatnin
And the rain is falling down.
We can pack our things by dinnertime,
and be headed out by dawn.
That’s why were truckin,
Truckin down the road!
I guess I’m getting older
Or the coffees just too strong.
‘Cause after drinking 4 or 5,
the heartburn comes along.
And if I forget my prilosec
I’ll half to go outside.
So excuse me while I wrestle
With my insides.
We like to see our grandkids,
And we play with them awhile.
Fill um up with soda pop
And candy for a smile.
But when they start to racin
round the room like a hurricane.
We take our cue, to say audios
And see ya later.
