Story behind the song
Honestly, I came up with all the music for the song first and i just kept listening and listening to it. Then, some words hit me that had been running through my scatterbrained head and I figured, why not. but this is mostly about a trip to nyc and a train ride home after spending the day just drifting about thinking about past relationships, the soft and delicate nature of everything, and how being alone helps you remember what you were and where you're going.
