This is a song about a woman who lost her soul mate for years and years without ever knowing what happened to him....but her undying love remained faithful...

Extra Extra really started out as a solo project, and when I decided to cut these tunes, I had some friends who wanted to participate in the making of the album
Extra Extra started out primarily as a studio project, focusing on a wide array of styles that really had no pin-pointed boundries.Through this noncompliance approach, but still having a love for pop structures, came some very interesting compositions. The music is free spirited and loaded with musical and lyrical conviction, with memorable hooks and interesting twists.

Story behind the song
This is purely fictional....I just thought of a storyline, grabbed the ball and ran with it
Lyrics
She kissed him goodbye And the train slowly faded Oh how she cried, cried, cried Each day as she waited Her nights were alone With her eyes on the phone But the only ring that he gave her Was that life long dream he put on her finger The promise was made But how long must she wait For a boy who may never come home But what she didn't know Was late that night he was nearly slain For ten bucks left for dead in the rain And barely holding on John Doe he became And his life was sustained But by pulling a plug it would stop! Fall turned to spring And spring turned to winter She prayed that the summer would bring That long awaited letter The seasons had changed But her love still remained For a boy who may never come home But what she didn't know Was late that night he cried in his sleep And he pulled himself out from the deep And he remembered her name But would it still be the same For a boy who was now coming home
