Extra Extra really started out as a solo project, and when I decided to cut these tunes, I had some friends who wanted to participate in the making of the album
Extra Extra started out primarily as a studio project, focusing on a wide array of styles that really had no pin-pointed boundries.Through this noncompliance approach, but still having a love for pop structures, came some very interesting compositions. The music is free spirited and loaded with musical and lyrical conviction, with memorable hooks and interesting twists.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song reflecting on a friend who was going through divorce and the love/hate relationship that led up to it.
Lyrics
You filled me up with your sunshine Then you showered me in rain You lifted me from the gutter Then washed me down the drain You said that we'd be together Then you caught the midnight train You promised me forever As you turned away Fooled again But I still pretend That it's just fine You took me over the rainbow But your colors seemed to fade When you found no pot of gold Did it shatter the dreams you'd made? Fooled again But I still pretend That it's just fine Am I out of mind to think there was something there? To think without a care that everything's just fine? Should I have read the signs? When will I ever learn the moment the table turns Everything's just fine?
