Story behind the song
"This song is extremely me. I suppose it is about my 'fetish' of sorts with mortality. My questioning of all things forbidden, I think, combined with a little cynicism on my part , heavily-influenced this song. But, as I said, it is a personal lament for me." - Trannon “I love the beginning acoustic part of this song. It’s comes in softly and then – boom – a hard rocking sound that blows you away. This was a fun song to write. I came up with the structure and Trannon wrote the lyrics. I just love the bridge on this song. This song has such a powerful build-up and then a cool breakdown at the bridge. This one really is fun to play live”. -Richard
